Mobile app development

We build mobile apps for iOS and Android that hold up in the real world: responsive on weak networks, resilient when backgrounded mid-task and native-feeling on each platform. We usually build cross-platform from a single Flutter codebase, so one team owns both stores.

What's included

Apps built for real-world conditions

An app that only works on fast office wifi isn't finished. We build for the conditions your users actually face (patchy connectivity, interruptions and a long list of devices) and ship to both stores from one team.

In scope
  • iOS and Android apps, usually from one Flutter codebase
  • Offline-tolerant sync that survives a dropped connection
  • Native integrations: camera, notifications, biometrics, deep links
  • Resilience to weak networks and backgrounding
  • App Store and Play Store submission and release
  • Backend APIs to power the app, where you need them
How we work

How we build mobile apps

We design for the device and the network, test on real hardware, and ship through a pipeline that builds both platforms from a single source of truth.

  1. 1

    Shape the app

We agree the flows, the offline behaviour, and the platform integrations, and choose cross-platform or native deliberately.

  2. 2

    Architecture

A typed, layered foundation with predictable state and navigation, so the app scales past the first few screens.

  3. 3

    Build

Features in iterations, wired to your backend with offline-tolerant sync and the native capabilities you need.

  4. 4

    Test on devices

Automated tests plus real-device testing across the weak-network and interruption cases that break apps.

  5. 5

    Release & iterate

Submission to both stores from a single build, then ongoing iteration on real usage.

Deliverables

What you receive

A published app on both stores, with the code and pipeline to keep shipping.

What you get
  • An app live on the App Store and Play Store
  • A maintainable codebase, usually one Flutter source for both platforms
  • Offline-tolerant sync against your backend
  • The native integrations your app relies on
  • Automated and real-device test coverage
  • A release pipeline and store-submission setup

Our default is one Flutter codebase with typed state for Android and iOS, so one team owns both platforms. We go native where a feature demands it.

Questions

Mobile app questions

Cross-platform or native?

Cross-platform with Flutter is right for most product apps: one codebase, one team, features that land on both platforms at once. Native makes sense when an app depends on the latest platform-only APIs or needs the absolute peak of platform performance. We choose deliberately based on your product, not by habit.

Can you publish to the App Store and Play Store for us?

Yes. We handle the build, signing, store metadata, and submission, and set up a release pipeline so future updates ship cleanly. We'll also guide you through the account and review requirements so the first submission isn't a surprise.

Do you build the backend too?

We can. Many apps need an API behind them, and we build those in Go or Node.js with the same security standard as the app. If you already have a backend, we integrate with it instead. It's your call.

Will the app work offline?

We design for it. Offline-tolerant sync keeps the app usable when the connection drops and reconciles changes cleanly when it returns. Exactly how much works offline depends on your product, and we'll scope that explicitly rather than promising magic.

Put your product in people's pockets.
